The demoscene's most wanted!

Yes we did use coder colors for the logo!
I'm looking for someone who is all of these things:

1) Obsessed with Buzz Tracker. You know it inside & out, you know how it can bug, you've rescued broken songs and are able to avert the noise-burst-of-doom. You know which synths and effects make it crash, and how.
2) Extremely (and I do mean utterly) respectable and trustworthy.
3) Has made a habit of building non-crash-prone Buzz Tracker installs with stable synths and effects that do not clip, mess around with DC, do not suddenly emit noise-bursts... Read more...
This is a wild shot, but I'm looking for a person who could build up a custom ultra-silent computer that runs DOS, has a Gus Max ( I can provide it ) and some sort of a Soundblaster card that is not so hissy - one that allows for Impulse Tracker to run with filters.

I'm basically looking at trying to get a legacy PC going on, where I'd be able to plug in a keyboard & mouse, and ImpulseTracker would work.

I have a soundcard, Gravis Ultrasound Max, and I know I have a need for a Pc soundcard... Read more...

We have been writing and producing a blend of rock/metal/d+b/industrial style music for around 10 years and feel it is time to offer help back to the scene. If you are looking for music for your projects, take a look at our resume here: soundcloud.com . We can offer full or instrumental versions of most of our work for use in your scene projects. As an example of how our music would fit with scene style projects, check out our latest video here: www.youtube.com Read more...
In case you need a tune for your production, feel free to contact me.
Being part of the demoscene since 1991, currently member of Deadliners & Desire, I am really optimistic that I can come up with something nice for you.

So, 4ch chiptunes? No problem. MODs of any kind, even multi-channel? You are welcome, Sir.
Check my soundcloud to hear some samples of my scene work: www.soundcloud.com
I´ve got quite some stuff in my portfolio, but maybe I´m best known for my chiptunes... Read more...

ZX Spectrum coding - ask me questions

20+ years of Speccy coding and support, releases include New Wave 48K, The Link, Wolfenstein 2004, Chip Tracker and Info Guide e-zine: www.pouet.net

So if you want to make something big on Speccy I most certainly know if it is possible and how to do it (2D, 3D, multicolors, loaders, AY, beeper handling...). I'm free to ask and I have a large codebase. The only exception: I don't like to help people that make bad things on the scene (spreading lies, site... Read more...
Just like the title says, I'm in need of original, demoscene track that would have this oriental (japanese) mood and feeling, mixed with explicit electronic sounds.
For couple of years I have an idea for a demo (animation), but I need the complete soundtrack to inspire me and expand my vision :) I am musician myself, but my own tunes just don't work :D

If you need reference, Radix's "A Shogun Named Paul" is perfect example of what I am looking for: www.modules.pl

Hello,

Do you find yourself making demos that are derivative?

Are you unable to progress from textured cubes to conceptual mindfuckery?

Don't worry! What you could use is an aggressive immersion in the psychedelic method of demomaking, as executed by us in various demo productions over the years.

Keywords: recreational narcotics, psychedelic drugs, experimental programming methods, unconventional art tools and procedures

PS. not recommended for people who like repeatable rendering... Read more...
