The demoscene's most wanted!

Yes we did use coder colors for the logo!
We’re bringing the Demoscene spirit into the present with the S-11 Remix Competition, launched in collaboration with Label Radar. This competition revisits Project S-11, a 25-year-old video game soundtrack born from the same underground movement that pushed the limits of early digital art, coding, and sound. Now, we’re inviting today’s producers and remixers to put their own spin on it, keeping the ethos of experimentation and technical artistry alive.

For the competition, we’ve released both... Read more...
Hey,

absolute demoscene noobie working on a first release.

It's a demo for a very exotic platform: a Casio calculator.
I managed to get a mod player working on the limited resources.

The hardware has very tight limitations on RAM, so any MOD files need to be really small.
It can play modarchive.org (13.44 KiB) for example.

It's quite a challenge I'd imagine and I don't really have a clear vision for the demo itself yet, just a... Read more...

I'm looking for a long-term partnership when it comes to making music in any tracker you can think of. Willing to get out of my comfort zone in general but I mostly use OpenMPT, Renoise, Protracker (sometimes), FLS21 if I want some funky sound design and Reaper.
Been slightly involved in the demoscene... Read more...
Hi ! I'm a french musician, composer / beatmaker and would be interested to collaborate in a demo or intro project, or maybe other things you can propose. If you are in need of music for a compo, I can bring some audio, or MIDI, or MOD file, or music for 4K to 64K, depending on the project and its constraints. We'll can talk about it.
You can find my usual productions on YouTube and SoundCloud, so you'll can make an idea of my aesthetics and genres I like to produce, but it is still open and can... Read more...
I've been working on a WonderSwan C development toolchain called "Wonderful" for the past 1-2 years.

One of the things the platform could really use is a music driver/tracker - converted VGM files have filesize and technical issues. As such, understanding that my time available to work on a niche homebrew toolchain is limited, I've been considering adapting hUGEDriver/hUGETracker to the WonderSwan as part of my toolchain work. The reasoning behind such a choice is:

(a) The tracker in question... Read more...
