The demoscene's most wanted!

Yes we did use coder colors for the logo!
I´ve seen it all. Even been to that Revision stage a couple of times. Had all that recording room stress. Cheap hotels. Nasty backstage parties. So - let me assure I totally understand your mindset and your focus to achieve greatness in demoscening. But believe me - for now this is cool - but there is a life beyond bits and bytes. And you should rather think about your next steps sooner than later.

In my case, motorbikes raised my attention to another level. My mindset, my body, everything just... Read more...
Hey! I will repost from other forum from my friend mighty, do youperhaps happen to have any demo disk or other software/hardware related to the game Re-Volt? I've seen several threads sharing old Software, but they're just too many to sift through! Any help would come in handy in this endeavour. 😀

For those who dont know, Re-Volt is a cult classic game that still sparks nostalgia in many, as it was one of the most successful titles of Acclaim back in the day. The community is extremely active... Read more...

Looking for Coders for a music video

Posted by Tallboy_Palmer
Hello, I am a musical artist, filmmaker, and performance artist from the San Fernando Valley in California(pst). I am new to the demoscene and I am blown away by the sheer amount of talent and wild creativity in this community. I am looking for coders and graphic designers who can help me in creating a music video for an album/video project I am working on. I myself cannot create demos, I do not have the equipment or even the slightest idea on how to code or design graphics. I am, however, in love... Read more...

Need help with Sharp MZ80K repairs

Posted by alixCRT
Hey there!
I got a Sharp MZ80K a while back, but it shows only random characters on screen when turned on instead of the console.
I cleaned it all up and measured through all the pins on the ICs looking for cold solder joints, but it's all good. I got some a _little_ bit off wave forms on the osci for some ICs but am still not entirely sure what's going on there. Really hard to find anything about this machine apart from the manual. :/

If someone has this machine, too or could connect me to... Read more...

Looking for volunteers to help with "Got Papers?"

Posted by gotpapers
"Got Papers?" (gotpapers.untergrund.net is a project that strives to preserve those scene materials which aren't digital - like party flyers, votesheets, disk covers, stickers, or paper mags. Since its launch in April 2015, nearly 200 artifacts from the mid-1980s to the present have been rescued from sceners' shelves, basements and attics, scanned in high resolution, supplied with metadata, and put on ftp.scene.org to be preserved for future generations of sceners and scene researchers alike.

Demoscene.org admin/community manager

Posted by Baudsurfer
We are seeking head community manager for future demoscene.org site (Wikipedia-like apart from ramblings).

The goal is to manage user posts, validate them and basically administrate the site. From demosceners for demosceners.

When researching it was reckoned most sceners are wanting to develop some legacy effect database ; we on the other hand would also like to honor past sceners (inactive or dead) in the most factual and respectful fashion (heritage) : most likely your own "don't be evil"... Read more...
