The demoscene's most wanted!

Yes we did use coder colors for the logo!
I'm in the US, mountain time. Worldwide partners are great--I am up all hours. I speak English. I'm looking for either a one-off partnership or a longterm one. I'd just like some experience in this realm. I'm currently teaching myself C64 assembly, and know maybe a dozen programming languages, but I'm a better artist than programmer. I can figure out any format you need from video down to hexadecimal data dumps of images. I work with whatever tool is convenient. Small portfolio of sorts:

Pixel artist for 2D games

Posted by Adok
I am a coder who is working on game projects without commercial ambitions in his spare time. A skilled pixel artist would make a useful partner. I am also looking for musicians. My games are mostly tactical role-playing and platform games. Read more...
Hello,
DevEd of AYCE (All You Can Execute) here, I'll just cut straight to the chase here: We are looking for a pixel artist. We already have several productions under our belt, however we are currently largely reliant on outside help for art. We have plenty of talented coders and musicians, but due to a lack of art we haven't been able to release much lately.

Most of our work is for oldschool platforms, as well as for the TIC-80 fantasy console. We're currently working on and/or planning productions... Read more...

GFX Artist wants to join a demogroup

Posted by Flashira
Hi. Flashira here.
I live somewhere in Asia and I mostly do metalheart/trendwhore styled wallpapers, though I sometimes experiment with different styles.
I'm writing this because I would like to join a demogroup to make some overlays for demos (and sometimes soundtrack and 3D objects), since I haven't been working on demos for a while.
I don't really have much to write, but here are some examples of my works on DeviantArt: www.deviantart.com
Wish you all the best! ;) Read more...

composer looking for co-operation

Posted by Peer
Hey,
my name is Peer, I'm a composer and based in Hamburg.
I made a 'weird' CD with quite strange 'music' which I -of course- like very much.
It is not about selling my music or forcing people to listen to it - I just want to preserve it but not only as music, but as a 'work of art'. A co-operation between music, mixing, art-work, video.

So I'd like to have visuals which could fit to this strange music of mine and I got in contact with the demo scene and my mind tells me: that could be a fantastic... Read more...

Music visualization group looking for shader coder

Posted by SunnyBadgr
We are a group of audiovisual artists and technologists that specializes in synesthetic music visualization, we use a combination of audio software and GLSL programming to create highly detailed, carefully mapped audiovisual videos. We use our own shadertoy-compatible rendering software for high definition and 360° rendering that allow for complex 3d scenes to be rendered using audio and midi files as inputs (mapping audio/midi events to shader parameters).
We are currently looking to expand the... Read more...
I wrote this guide a couple years ago:

Which got good feedback from most people who read it.
I keep wondering how i can improve it, and thought that some illustrations would maybe do the trick. Any graphician out there feels like giving this a go? Either for a more serious graphic novel project, or just a few illustrations here and there to keep the reader unafraid of the wall of text.
