Last year I got 4th at Assembly 2024 with a demo for the 1995-era Macintosh (targeted the low-end Performa 5200, 75 MHZ). The tech is pretty great, no other game or demo for Mac has a faster software rasterizer nor real-time lighting. However, the demo should have been stronger in design and graphics - it was mostly an afterthought and last-minute.

I always wanted the Mac to have something to show as a counter to the great 1995 PC demos but I don't think Mac is there yet.

Hi folks! I'm from Fugu Quintet - we make dark and artsy music. As it's abstract and we have instrumentals only - we need artsy, clearly non-AI generated and moody videos that we can use as vertical videos for promotion or even visualisations for the track on the youtube.

I think this forum is the right place for me.

We can provide some of the source midis for the tracks or you can use stems of separate instruments and it may change what happening on the screen.

I just discovered the demoscene and I'd like to get involved.

I'm skilled at 2D graphics and illustration and am currently learning more about Blender so I can help with 3D too. I don't really mess with programming much because it's not my focus, so I'd like to stay on the graphics side and work with people who can handle the programming, or have something in mind that can be done, and I can push it to the limit graphic- or story-wise.
