Music visualization group looking for shader coder

Posted by SunnyBadgr
We are a group of audiovisual artists and technologists that specializes in synesthetic music visualization, we use a combination of audio software and GLSL programming to create highly detailed, carefully mapped audiovisual videos. We use our own shadertoy-compatible rendering software for high definition and 360° rendering that allow for complex 3d scenes to be rendered using audio and midi files as inputs (mapping audio/midi events to shader parameters).
We are currently looking to expand the... Read more...
Retroguru has another Atari Lynx game project near finalization. Unfortunately the music part is not yet ready.

We are therefore looking for a music magican who can redo the Amiga ProTracker soundtrack into Chipper.
If you are generally looking to join a bunch of crazy guys, we always needs musicians for our Freeware game projects.

We speak German and English. The Retroguru collective has members worldwide, but the main organizing people usually operate in the time zone GMT+2.

I wrote this guide a couple years ago:
github.com
Which got good feedback from most people who read it.
I keep wondering how i can improve it, and thought that some illustrations would maybe do the trick. Any graphician out there feels like giving this a go? Either for a more serious graphic novel project, or just a few illustrations here and there to keep the reader unafraid of the wall of text.

Looking for already made demos and visuals!

Hi!

I'm a DJ and VJ, and I've done both mixes and my own attempts at visual works, but I still feel quite limited in how much I can do with my VFX works, because I don't have too many samples to work with.
I understand that creating new works can be daunting, so that's not what I'm asking for!
Instead, if you're a person with a lot of completed projects, scraps, renders etc... That's just what I need!

I've been working with this for over a year now, and I'm not showing any signs of slowing... Read more...

I live in the United Kingdom , born in Portugal and I intend to create a long term partnership for myself and the ''Krew'' , so that maybe one day our Artwork may be displayed in a major and massive DemoParty around the world.
Let's spread the love.
In the future if all goes well , we might even be able to create an original... Read more...

Extreme ASCII group logo for exe header

Posted by BoyC
During my minor foray into executable signing I figured some stuff out that resulted in the very beginning of compressed executables have a bit of space that we started using... creatively. I'm wondering if an actual ASCII artist could do a better job than me.

Here are the specifications:
- 16x4 ASCII graphic
- The top left 2 characters MUST be MZ
- The bottom right 4 characters cannot be used

Anything cool is welcome, but if a 'nice' looking Conspiracy logo could be squeezed in there that'd... Read more...
Take a look at playfield.dev or github.com to see the emu in action.

This project badly need a stylish logo. It can be ASCII (new-school, old-school), 2d or 3d. As the project is about emulate a 30 years old machine, retro would definitive fit.

The logo will be used on the Github project page, it will be used as favicon and as splash screen for the PWA app.

Sincerely,
Genoz / Vantage
