Hello, we in DGDM (short for Da Goofy Demo Mastermindz, formerly GRiBFORD) are actively looking for some talented coders, graphicians and musicians (I am one myself).

For PC/DOS and Amiga music, I use OpenMPT. GoatTracker Ultra for C64 SID, Vortex Tracker 2 for ZX Spectrum AY/YM, Furnace for DOS OPL.
I use TiXL for PC, might switch to Werkkzeug for small-sized demos and intros. Still learning to program demos for retro platforms in TRSE.

I'm coding a demo for the X16 and have the 'principle' effects done. I now need some help with music to get the demo coreagraphed.

If you dont know of the Commander X16, it has a PSG and YM2151. It also has PCM, but as it has to be fed by the CPU I'm not sure how much we can use that. Maybe scene dependant?

The good news is the machine is supported nativley by Furnace, which should make the process much easier.

Hi, maxon / HBC here.

I love learning how to code on Godot.
Would love to find another Godot coder for collaboration for a Demo.
Released under HBC or maybe something else, everything is up to discussion.

Maybe in the future I shall try LÖVE2D or Bevy or what open-source engines are out there.

Or maybe even make my own, but I definitely won't have skills for that for multiple years from now.
